Lomi Lomi is the Hawaiian word for "massage", repeated twice to express it's importance. It is part of a larger native Hawaiian tradition of healing and natural body care. According to Hawaiian tradition, all living beings are seeking a state of balance and love in the world. During a Lomi Lomi session, I focus on not only relaxing your body through gentle touch, but also reviving your spirit and filling your body with the energy of love.
An hour and a half session allows more time to flow into a deeper state, and Pule (prayer). All sessions begin on the back of the body, attempting to clear a path into the future. With additional time for the front of the body, (which represents the clients past) it is time to let go of old hurts and regrets, that can in turn cause pain of the body.
